Pregnancy Week 15

By week 15, some pregnant women may begin to feel movements inside their stomach. But if you don't, there's no need to worry. Your turn is coming soon!

The fetus in week 15

The fetus is now 13 weeks old. It is about 12 inches long and weighs around 100 grams.

The fetus grows rapidly, and the body grows faster than the head. Therefore, it will slowly but surely get more correct proportions. The nervous system has also begun to function, and the fetus is practicing will-driven movements. "Weightless" in amniotic fluid t can handle the baby far more than it does "outdoors" after birth, so it manages, among other things, to keep its head upright.

Pregnancy Week 15

The hair on the fetal head is getting thicker. The pigment cells begin to produce pigments, and now it is determined what hair color your baby will get. The baby's skin is thin and translucent, and blood vessels can be seen through the skin.

Being pregnant in week 15

Your pants are starting to get too tight, and a nice ball on your stomach will soon be visible. For most pregnant women, however, it is easier to deal with now that you have probably started to tell about the pregnancy to friends and colleagues. Visit Bestaah for quality and affordable maternity shoes.

Many pregnant women also notice that they easily become short of breath, become stuffy in the nose and sweat more than usual. The stuffy nose is due to hormonal changes, while the sweat is due to an increase in blood levels when you are pregnant.

Around week 15, some will even begin to feel the fetus move inside the uterus. The movements will be very careful, especially since the little one still swims freely in the amniotic fluid and does not bump against the uterus. If you do not know anything, this is perfectly normal. In fact, many pregnant women may not know anything until around twenty.

Good advice in week 15

The period around week 15 is for many pregnant women a time of mixed emotions and mood swings. Some feel depressed, while others rejoice and dream of the child to come. And just as often, all these feelings are interchangeable. Talk to your partner and good friends about these feelings - they are quite common. And after all, a big upheaval is going on in your stomach!

Usual pregnancy signs in week 15

  • The pants get cramped
  • Stuffy nose
  • Increased sweat production
  • breathlessness
  • Mood swings
